Went Old Wyrley Hall. Staff. Were polite and obliging. Menu was short but in the process of being widened. The starter was garlic mushroom which is excellent. Main course was cod stuffed with spinach, again very good. Sweet was apple crumble & custard. Finished off meal well. Had a pint of Guinness which was best I had tasted outside of Eire. All in all a good night
Worst experience ever, not what we were expecting. Been there for Christmas parties for the last 5 plus years and has been top class, this year right up until 3 days before were'nt told the menu had been completely changed, to NOT a CHRISTMAS MENU. had to stand in a queue and menu was'nt even like a decent carvery all I had was a piece of chicken and some pots NO VEG on offer absolutely awful and dessert was 2 varieties of cake all placed on a table and some cream (which had run out by the time we had ours) this we had to pick up with our dinner and carry it to our table at the same time, and all I can say is NEVER AGAIN. And am speaking on behalf of the whole of our party. (10 of us altogether).
